Designing Factsheets for Global Impact
To support IPCC Working Group III at COP27, we created a suite of infographic-led factsheets that replaced dense, graph-heavy content with clear, visual communication. Each factsheet was tailored to highlight key insights from different sectors, using a modular design system to ensure consistent styling and efficient production.
We also implemented a digital strategy to expand their reach. QR codes on each printed sheet linked to a microsite housing all factsheets, creating an accessible and engaging digital experience. The final deliverables helped the IPCC capture attention at the COP27 and laid the groundwork for continued use of this material in educational outreach.

Templates That Support Storytelling
Alongside the factsheets, we developed a flexible PowerPoint template designed to elevate live presentations. We based these on existing IPCC assets but introduced new visual styles tailored to different presentation needs, from data-heavy to more conversational. A key focus was ensuring ease of use, cross-platform compatibility, and a smooth editing experience.
Each template included a practical guide and a sample deck to help presenters structure content clearly. From visuals to functionality, we delivered tools that enhanced storytelling while staying faithful to brand guidelines, enabling presenters to communicate complex ideas with confidence and clarity.

What They Say

Turning Challenges into Success
Several early challenges ultimately shaped the project’s success. Extensive draft text content required careful editorial collaboration with scientists to distil and refine key messages. This improved clarity led to a unified layout across all factsheets.
With many stakeholders and limited direct access, we also built a feedback system to gather and manage input efficiently, avoiding version-control issues. Knowing compatibility had also been a recurring problem, we developed templates that performed reliably across platforms, ensuring all users had a consistent experience, no matter their setup.
